The daughter of Rev. Angel Obinim and failed Member of Parliament for
the Trobu constituency in the Greater Accra region, Diamond Appiah has
advised her followers to avoid bleaching their skin like Mzbel.
According to Diamond who owns a cosmetic company, modern women should
adore their natural skin colour rather than bleaching of their skin and
be having different complexion on their faces and their legs.
She mentioned that instead of bleaching, there are some products
available which will polish the natural skin complexion and make the
skin glow.
She posted “As a CEO of a Cosmetic Brand it is part of my social
responsibility to advise n educate the modern day Ghanaian Women to Say
no to bleaching products that will give u a "Fanta face n Coca-cola
Feet" as displayed in a photograph taken in broad daylight as this one.
Let love n appreciate our natural skin tones we were born with, Whether
ur dark, brown or light skin there are healthy n hydroquinone free
products made with plants extracts like carrot, cocoa n Shea butter from
Diamond Cosmetics range of products that will polish ur natural skin
complexion n make ur skin glow n look flawless from head to toe,”
supporting her post with a picture of Mzbel.
Diamond Appiah who is a known NPP sympathizer was on the case of Mzbel
last year when they were both campaigning for both political divides.
It’s unclear whether Diamond Appiah wants to start another war of words
with musician Mzbel but if there is anything like that it’s definitely
going to be fire.
